Microsoft’s five-foot alligator houses a working Xbox Series X and a bite-marked controller, with one bundle available through a November 10 giveaway.
Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Series X-BITE, a one-of-a-kind console built inside an artificial alligator more than five feet long. A working Series X sits within the creature’s body, while a custom controller marked with bites rests between its open jaws.
Xbox announced the Florida-inspired creation on November 3 and is giving away the sole example through a social-media sweepstakes. The official trailer above shows the finished piece, including its Xbox-green eyes and illuminated Nexus logo.
Creature-effects specialist John Nolan Studio made the alligator using 3D modeling, sculpting and fabrication. Xbox credits the studio with work on The Witcher, Jurassic World Dominion and HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.
The design extends beyond a decorated console shell. The reptile’s body surrounds the hardware, its eyes incorporate Xbox-inspired pupils, and the controller has its own damaged-looking finish to complete the display.
Xbox says the Series X inside functions, while describing the custom fabrication as best for display. The footage presents a physical creature prop built around existing console hardware.
The official rules open entry to eligible legal residents physically located in the 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico, aged 18 or older. No purchase is required. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on November 10.
Entrants must follow Xbox on X, Instagram or TikTok, repost a designated promotional post and manually add #XbiteSweepstakes. On X, the rules specify using the Quote option; Instagram and TikTok require adding the hashtag in the repost’s text field. Accounts must be public for entries to count.
The limit is one entry through each platform, allowing up to three per person. Microsoft lists the custom console-and-controller bundle’s approximate retail value at $799.99.
The random drawing is scheduled for on or around November 11. A potential winner will be contacted through the social account used to enter and has 48 hours to respond, followed by a further verification step.
The rules estimate shipping within approximately eight weeks after the winner is confirmed. That timetable matters for anyone hoping to put the alligator beside their television for November’s major game releases.
