Key Notes

  • MY.GAMES reports $525 million in lifetime Hustle Castle revenue and more than 87 million installs, marking nine years since its 2017 launch.
  • The reported revenue total is $75 million above the $450 million milestone cited in July, although the disclosures do not provide matching financial-period cutoffs.
  • Anniversary celebrations include rewards and offers, with The Viral Adventure event bringing Sir Mole and new prizes to the game on November 5.

Hustle Castle has generated $525 million in lifetime revenue and passed 87 million installs, according to MY.GAMES. The mobile strategy RPG is marking nine years since its 2017 launch, with anniversary rewards and another limited-time event due this week.

The publisher announced the figures on November 2. Developed by Studio Nord, Hustle Castle combines managing a medieval stronghold with training characters, equipping combat squads and competing against other players.

Lifetime Revenue Moves Beyond the $450 Million Milestone

An earlier MY.GAMES press release, published in July for the Game of Clans event, put Hustle Castle at $450 million in lifetime revenue and more than 85 million installs. The latest reported revenue total is $75 million higher, an increase of approximately 16.7% over that disclosed milestone.

That comparison concerns accumulated revenue since launch. The releases do not provide matching financial-period cutoffs, so the difference should not be turned into an exact quarterly growth rate. Nor does the $525 million figure disclose profit after development, marketing and operating costs.

The install milestones also describe cumulative reach rather than the number of people currently playing. Moving from more than 85 million to more than 87 million installs does not establish a precise count of new or returning players, and MY.GAMES did not publish a current active-user figure.

Even with those limits, the disclosure shows a game from 2017 continuing to add substantial revenue long after its original release. Its commercial history now extends well beyond the launch period, while the publisher continues to schedule new content.

Clan Warfare Expands the Castle-Building Loop

This year’s Game of Clans update introduced a world map divided into contested regions. Clans could deploy forces, fight rivals in real-time battles and increase their influence by winning control of territory, adding a shared strategic objective beyond an individual castle.

The July announcement scheduled that event to run until July 21, giving clans a set window to compete across its world map.

The underlying game remains built around a mixture of construction and character progression. Its App Store description outlines building and upgrading rooms, assigning residents to jobs, training fighters and taking teams into campaign missions and multiplayer raids.

The Android listing similarly highlights hero equipment, resource management and guild cooperation. Those systems give new events several ways to connect with an existing account, from developing a fighting squad to pursuing rewards with a clan.

The Viral Adventure Begins on November 5

For the ninth anniversary, MY.GAMES is offering special in-game rewards and promotional offers. The next named event, The Viral Adventure, starts on November 5 and brings Sir Mole to players’ castle gates with a challenge and treasure to pursue.

Studio Nord head Pavel Shifrin credited both the development team and the player community for the game’s longevity. He highlighted Game of Clans as a major addition this year and said the team plans further content and experiences.

Hustle Castle is available on Android and iOS. It is free to download with in-app purchases, so its revenue milestone reflects spending within a free-to-play business rather than sales of 87 million paid copies.

The title sits alongside other established MY.GAMES businesses. Rush Royale reached $500 million in lifetime revenue in June. We also reported on War Robots passing $50 million on Steam, a platform-specific milestone that illustrates a different part of the publisher’s long-running games portfolio.
