Sony has announced October’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup, led by Mafia: The Old Country, the return of Horizon Forbidden West and a day-one PS5 release for Mycopunk. Most additions arrive on October 20, 2026, with several exceptions spread across the month.
The selection covers both Extra and Premium subscribers, while the two announced Classics Catalog additions require Premium. Essential membership alone does not provide access to the Game Catalog, a distinction worth checking before planning a download.
Mafia and Mycopunk Lead the October 20 Additions
Mafia: The Old Country joins on PS5, giving subscribers access to Hangar 13’s story set in early twentieth-century Sicily. Horizon Forbidden West returns to the catalog on both PS5 and PS4. Sony explicitly identifies Aloy’s adventure as a re-release in the service.
Mycopunk is the new-release highlight. Its PS5 version enters the catalog on October 20 worldwide, giving eligible subscribers day-one access to the cooperative shooter. That describes its arrival on PlayStation and in the subscription, rather than a claim that no version of the game has previously been available elsewhere.
Premium also adds Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, both listed for PS5 and PS4. The former brings a classic action-oriented dinosaur adventure into the service, while the latter offers theme-park management and construction.
The Lineup Has More Than One Start Date
Sony’s announcement gives The Midnight Walk an earlier arrival: October 14 in the US and UK, followed by October 15 in Japan. It is a PS5 title that can also be played with PS VR2, rather than a game that requires a headset.
