Easter Egg

Hidden outside the obvious path, an Easter egg rewards players for curiosity. It might be a developer message, a visual gag, a reference to another work, a secret room, or an unusual interaction that has little effect on normal progress. Some are easy nods; others require community-wide puzzle solving. An Easter egg differs from ordinary optional content because concealment and surprise are central to its purpose. Developers sometimes use them to honor colleagues, acknowledge studio history, foreshadow later releases, or create moments that spread through videos and forums.
