Season Pass

A season pass is a commercial package that prepays for multiple pieces of post-launch content, usually at a lower total price than buying each one separately. The publisher should identify what is included and when it is expected, although schedules can change. Typical contents include expansions, story chapters, characters, or map packs. Ownership normally depends on the base game and does not guarantee every later add-on. Despite the similar name, a season pass is not necessarily a battle pass: the former bundles DLC, while the latter usually unlocks a time-limited progression track.
