Nintendo Says It Has No Plans to Stop Selling Physical Games
Nintendo’s Latin America chief says fan demand keeps physical games in its plans, though Switch 2 game-key cards still require a download.
DLC stands for downloadable content: additional digital material associated with a base game. It can be free or paid and may add story expansions, maps, characters, modes, vehicles, cosmetic packs, or digital extras. Platforms usually treat each DLC package as a separate entitlement even when its files install with the main game. DLC is broader than an expansion, which normally implies a substantial addition, and differs from a patch intended to fix or update the base software. Access may require ownership of the original game and, for multiplayer content, compatible versions among participants.
